A project for art class (theme: 'fantasy' )
I originally wanted to make a birdwoman, but the background became too dark, so I didn't finish that one and I was making with one at the same time, so I just turned in this one (well, the teacher was ill, so I haven't actually turned it in yet).

Fine liner and markers on A3 paper.
Reference was a photograph of France Mayotte by Roy Volkmann.
It was in an old book I got from my father. There are some really beautiful pictures in it.
